Come Join us for one of our FREE Canning Classes!
Canning is one of the many ways you can preserve your harvest. We work with Healthy Homestead Living on our Preserving and Canning classes. If you are interested in one of our other “Preserving the Harvest” classes including freezing, dehydrating, lacto-fermenting, and freeze-drying, click here. Free Live Canning classes are offered as produce becomes available and includes seasonal contents such as jams, green beans, tomatoes, pickled beets and pickling, and meats. Classes are FREE and include hands-on learning. All class participants actively engage in each phase of the canning process.
Classes are held at Pensaroda Farms in our Garden Kitchen. Classes generally run about 4 hours so be sure to bring a sack lunch.
